FIREFLY® Fire Barriers Used To Upgrade Health Centre Roof

New Case Study!
Really proud to see our work at Boston Health Clinic featured as an official FIREFLY® FIRE BARRIERS case study.
Back in October, a team of three of our operatives spent two weeks carrying out a passive fire protection installation at the Boston Health Clinic in Lincolnshire, creating both compartmentation and a protected zone within the roof space of the single storey building. The centre stayed fully operational throughout the whole job.
In total we installed 150m² of FIREFLY® Apollo Lite 30-30 fire barriers and FB180 ablative batts across the restricted mono-pitch and dual-pitch roof areas, using the full range of compatible FIREFLY® ancillary products including Collaroll, Ablative Coating, FR Intumescent Acrylic and clamping angle system. An FR120 access panel was also fitted to allow easy compliant access through the barrier.
As Daniel Oldacre, our Contracts Manager, noted, we currently have around 10 contracts running across the country, from Portsmouth up to North Wales, with FIREFLY® systems playing a central role in many of them. Every single one of our operatives has been trained at the FIREFLY® Academy, and that investment in doing things properly is something we take seriously on every project we take on.
We're grateful to the team at FIREFLY® FIRE BARRIERS for the kind words and for documenting this project as a case study. A great example of what a strong working relationship between manufacturer, installer and client can achieve.
